Love My Mattress

When shopping for a mattress I found hundreds of beds from Sealy, Serta, Simmons and Tempurpedic. I was very confused on where to shop and the type of mattress do I want. Which one is the best? Which one is right for me? I knew I wanted a queen size, so I pushed on. I found one mattress costs $3,000, but is was on sale today for only $400 (who actually believes that?). So I decided to shop online and found one that sounded really good. I did hear from a few retailers to make sure I buy a mattress 100% made in the USA, so I decided on a Live and Sleep memory foam mattress. I read they are a “mattress company that is trying to save the world and your wallet one mattress at a time by offering mattresses designed for better sleep at half the price of a comparable product.” I also liked the 100 day sleep trial, 100% Made in the USA and easy returns, so I gave it try.

Their website was beautiful, very informative and the memory foam mattress looks better than most of the $1,000+ mattresses I tried at local retailers. I was impressed to read that they work with a national charity and give a portion of each sale to them. My new mattress showed up at my house fast and I opened the box in my bedroom. They included a nice little gift that I was not expecting and the bed quickly unfolded.

The mattress looked just like the images on their site and felt very nice to the touch. I was expecting a much stronger smell, but it only had a slight smell when I stuck my nose in it. The big test was going to be how I felt when I go to bed and wake up the next day. I would describe the feel as not too firm and not too soft, just right for me (medium firm). After the first night of sleep, all I can see is; I’m a believer. I slept great and woke up refreshed with no aches or pains. I paid $799 for a queen and it included free shipping, but I look at it as I saved $500 or more by buying a Live and Sleep over the mattresses I tried at local retailers. Sweet Dreams!

Live and Sleep prices: Twin: $499, Twin XL: $549, Full (Double): $699, Queen: $799 and King: $899.
