Smoothie Fast/Cleanse


If you have your mind set up on losing that extra weight that bothers you, you should start with a detoxification. Detoxification is the key that leads to successful weight loss. The main reason is because our fat cells are storage for all sorts of toxins. Dieting is not going to help you get rid of toxins and therefore you should start your smoothie fast. The smoothie fast is an excellent way to get rid of toxins and free radicals accumulated in our body. – While you’re on your smoothie fast, you’re not allowed to consume any other food than your homemade prepared smoothie
– Your smoothie must be prepared using only raw veggies, fruits and water

– We advise you to mainly use green leafy veggies because they are the healthiest. Choose your favorite: arugula, carrot top leaves, collard greens, kale, lettuce, parsley, radish tops, spinach, spring greens, turnip greens, watercress etc.

-The smoothie is rich in proteins and will give you the energy your body needs. If you fell that you need an energy boost, add some protein powder in your smoothie.

– You can also add fruits when preparing your smoothie. Choose fruits that are low in sugar such as lemon, lime and berries. Fruits will make your smoothie tastier.
-Organic fruits and veggies are the best. If you can’t get your hand on organic fruits and veggies,then wash them really carefully to get rid of the pesticides
Your Daily Routine During the Smoothie Fast:

  • Your daily menu is consisted of 3 smoothies
  • Always start your day with a glass of water, to keep your body hydrated. Doctors recommend drinking 6-8 glasses of water per day
  • Your smoothies must be prepared using 70% veggies and 30% fruits.
  • You’ll be feeling hungry the first 2 days. Your body needs time to adjust to smaller amounts of food. Don’t stress yourself and snack on some apples any time you feel hunger.
  • You can also drink herbal tea during your fast. Don’t use sugar to sweeten it!
  • There are a few snacks allowed during the smoothie fast. You can snack on apples, celery and raw nuts. Don’t eat too many snacks!
